Active Home Health and Hospice is looking for a Full-Time Quality Assurance Assistant Nurse who is professional and self-motivated to join our team. Pay is based upon experience and training.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Oasis and ICD-10 coding. Oasis certification (COS-C) preferred; Oasis Home Health ICD-10 coding  certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of Hospice assessments and charting
• 2-3 years of clerical or managerial home health experience required.
• Knowledge of federal regulations and state licensure requirements.
• Working knowledge of computer systems.
• Possess and maintains current CPR certification.
• Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Current RN license.

Responsibilities:

• Prospectively reviews and audits all patient documentation to ensure appropriateness, completeness, and compliance with federal and state regulations and organization policy and procedure.
• Consults with appropriate clinical staff, Quality Assurance Manager and Director of Clinical Services to clarify any data integrity issues and works with clinician to make appropriate corrections per organization policy.
• Reviews visit utilization for appropriateness of care guidelines and patient condition.
