Home Health and Hospice Marketer

We are looking for a full time, home health and hospice marketer to join our Utah County team. We are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic person. Candidates must be able to build effective relationships, be willing to think outside the box and be comfortable educating groups of people about a variety of topics.

 Qualifications: The home health and hospice marketer should have the following skills, education or experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree with a major in Marketing or Health Care Management and/or Licensed Nurse (Preferred)
  • Familiar with health care reimbursement (Preferred)
  • Effective interpersonal skills in relating to and building relationships with physicians, community health specialists, management and co-workers, either in person, over the phone or via social media
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in sale or public relations, preferably in a home health care company, or a minimum of three (3) years experience in either nursing, therapy, social work or an equivalent medically trained field
  • Experience in social services coordination for patients with multiple, complex medical and/or socioeconomic needs (Preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Job Summary: Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following job functions:

  • Visit with and establish an effective rapport with physicians, discharge/admission coordinators, social workers, community liaisons and other health care providers in order to generate home health and hospice referrals
  • Coordinate care services and act as a liaison between clients, families, facilities and agency staff
  • Acts a liaison between physician or other members of the referral source to report patient's progress towards goals, response to treatment, update to treatment plans, etc...
  • Develop a marketing plan of action to reach monthly and quarterly goals utilizing cold calls, relationships, mailings, ads, social media, etc...
  • Develop and deliver healthcare educational trainings and seminars
  • Coordinate business development and education of patients, insurance companies, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, rehab facilities, independent living facilities, nurses and other community health providers
